I work on systems that are small, mostly invisible, and expected to keep working after everyone has stopped thinking about them. Embedded boards, a few Linux servers, occasional networks.

This site is where I write down things I had to figure out twice. It is not a tutorial site and there is no publishing schedule — posts appear when something annoys me enough.

What usually ends up here

• Notes from debugging something that should have been obvious
• Small operational habits that survived contact with reality
• Things I got wrong, written down before I forget again
